Please soften
your heart and help us help our students.
Boone County High School students need your
HELP. Since I don't have great powers of
persuasion, I simply ask you to become a member
of the BCHS Alumni Assn. The little $10
fee, multiplied by hundreds/thousand members,
will provide scholarship money for deserving
BCHS students. You, who are in careers
because of college, know how important a $1000
scholarship can be. If you did not go to
college largely due to money, you can help.
Become members. Those $10 dollar fees can
be transformed into 'little miracles' ....at
least to student who is scraping for every
dollar he/she can get. Please help BCHS
...Please. Ten dollars; that's only 3
packs of cigarettes. If you are still in contact
with former classmates, tell them about this
effort. If God has blessed you, you might
want to consider donating more (look for the
membership form on this site). Please
spread the word. You know how powerful the
word-of-mouth can be, so if you know one of more
BCHS grads, tell them - encourage them to become
a BCHS Alumni Association member for only $10. Surely, we can do as much
for our graduating students as Lloyd does for
theirs. Lloyd gives over $10,000 of scholarship
money every year; so can we. We have as much pride as they do.
Please try to persuade just one other BCHS-ite.
And could you do this today - you may forget by
tomorrow. Thanks Rebel.
