Senior Portraits Reminder

Attention Seniors: You do not want to miss out on senior portraits! The deadline to schedule an appointment for senior pictures with Prestige is Tuesday, September 26th. If you have questions, see Mrs. Redding or Bri Williams. Contact information for Prestige is here or call 578-0110.

Homecoming Song Request Form Homecoming

If you would like to request a song for the Homecoming dance please click here. You will have to log-in to your school google account.

Musical Theatre and Drama Club Meeting

To celebrate the merger of Musical Theatre and Drama clubs, both groups will be walking together in the Homecoming parade next Friday. Members of either group can stay after school on Monday to construct the banner. We will meet in Room 211.

Academic Team Practice

The Academic Team will practice on Friday, September 22nd until 4:30 p.m. Practice on Monday, September 25th will end at 3:30 p.m. See Mr. Vessa with questions.

National See You at the Pole Event

Fellowship of Christian Athletes/First Priority invite you to meet at the flag pole in front of the school on Wednesday, October 4th at 7:00 a.m. This is for the "National See You at the Pole" event. We will be reading scripture, singing and praying. Please join us.

Spirit Week Spirit Week

Next week is Spirit Week. To show your Cougar spirit dress according to the following themes next week: Millionaire Monday, Twin Tuesday, Inside Out Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and Grade level themes on Friday.

Craft Academy at Morehead State

Attention Sophomores: There will be an informational meeting for students interested in applying to the Craft Academy at Morehead State on October 17th at 10 a.m. here at Conner. If interested, sign up in the Counselors' Office.

NHS Homecoming Banner

Any NHS members interested in working on the homecoming banner should bring supplies and ideas to Room 109 this Thursday, September 21st and next Tuesday, September 26th after school. Contact Ms. Osborne or Kari Napier with any questions.

Archery Informational Meeting

Want to join Archery? Come to the informational meeting on Thursday, September 28th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the CHS Auditorium. Parents and archers are encouraged to attend to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of CONNER ARCHERY!

CHS Choir Selected to Perform at National and State Music Events CHS Choir

The Conner High School Chamber Choir has been invited to perform at two prestigious events in early 2018 – the Kentucky Music Educators Association State Professional Development Conference in Louisville, KY on February 8, 2018, and the premiere Music for All National Choir Festival in Indianapolis on March 15-17, 2018.  Click here for a press release about CHS Choirs

Picture Retake/Club Picture Day Lifetouch

Picture Retake/Club Picture Day will be held on Thursday, October 26th in the Small Gym from 7:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.  If you attend Early College, School of Design, Internship or are not in the building during 1st or 2nd Blocks, please plan to have your retake picture taken at 7:00 a.m.  If you have questions, see Mrs. Redding.  Picture forms to place your order with Lifetouch will be distributed during 2nd Block in mid-October.

Boone County ATC Open House

The Boone County ATC is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, September 26th from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

CHS Annual 5K - October 7th Cougar

Conner High School will be hosting its annual Run/Walk with the Cougars 5K.  The entry fee is $10.00 per person.  Children 4 & under are free but registration is still required.  Race starts at 9:00 a.m. at the CHS track.  Click here for a registration form.  Registration forms and money may be mailed to 3310 Cougar Path, Hebron, KY 41048 or given directly to Mrs. Sargent before and after school.  Hope to see you there!

Community Wide Yard Sale

Stephens Elementary PTA is hosting a community wide yard sale on Saturday, September 30th from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  If this event is rained out, it will be held on Saturday, October 7th.  The cost is $10.00 per parking spot for all sellers.  There is a limited supply of table for $5.00 if needed.  You may reserve your spot in advance by sending your Spot Fee and Contact Information via PayPal to stephenspta@gmail.com.  Click here for further registration details.

Pink Out Shirt Sales

If you would like to purchase a Pink Out shirt for the game on October 14th vs. Ryle, please see any cheerleader!


FCCLA dues are $15 and should be paid to Ms. Cox Room 108 by Friday September 22nd. T-shirts are an additional $8.50. Make checks payable to Conner High School.

9th - 11th PSAT Exam

Attention 9th-11th Graders: PSAT examinations are being sold now in the Counselors' Office for $20. The test will be given on October 11 here at Conner. Students who are Juniors can take this test as the entrance for the National Merit Scholarship Competition, while Freshmen and Sophomores can take it for practice. Please turn in money each day prior to lunchtime. Any questions, ask your counselor.

Senior Portraits by Prestige Pictures

Class of 2018 don't miss the opportunity to have your senior picture taken by Prestige.  This will allow you to choose a wide selection of poses and portraits.  Please contact Prestige at 859-578-0110 to make an appointment as soon as possible.  Seniors need to be photographed by Tuesday, September 26th.  This will ensure that you are in the composite displayed at CHS as well as be included in the digital yearbook.  Checkout our website page and book your appointment today!

All proceeds from Amazon Smile will be used to benefit the CHS Character Counts Program. The link will indicate Boone County Board of Education but proceeds will come to CHS


The technology committee encourages all students enrolled at Conner High School to bring their own device.  Students can get onto the network via a cell phone, tablet, chrome book, or laptop.    We do not provide a personal device for students in high school.  The district has provided the following document to help with deciding what to buy.  Student Device Purchases.  Please shop around and make sure the devices meet the minimum specs.   A lower budget purchasing option can be found here.

Approved Student Parking List

(updated 8-22-2017) 

Students on the list may park on campus beginning Aug. 16. The parking lot will be first come first served. No student may park in faculty lot in front of the school or rear of the school between 7am-2:45pm. Parking passes will be sold during fee payment nights Aug. 24 from 4-7pm and Aug 30 3:30-6:30.

As always cars MUST be moved from the student lot prior to 3pm, at this time the front and rear lots may be used.

SENIORS wishing to register for a parking pass MUST make the request online from July 30- Aug. 12, 2017. *

Students should be aware of the parking regulations.

ALL students requesting a parking pass MUST have & maintain: cumulative 2.0 GPA.

There are limited parking spaces at Conner High School. Therefore, we reserve those spaces for qualifying seniors. 
However, if spaces are available, juniors may apply date and time to be announced in August.

*Students who are registered for Dual Enrollment and Internship programs DO NOT need to send an email.

Microsoft Student Advantage Program

As part of our district licensing agreement, Microsoft has announced the Microsoft Student Advantage Program.  This program allows students in our district to install Office products on up to 5 devices – FREE.  Information on how students can download this free software is available here and it is linked off the Technology Department page of the district website.

Conner High School recycles ink and laser toner cartridges, cell phones, iPods/mp3 players, laptops, digital cameras, and gps devices. Unfortunately we cannot accept copy machine cartridges at this time. Contact Debbie Slusher if you have empty cartridges to donate.
