Governor’s Scholar’s

Final Day of the School Year

In accordance with the Kentucky Statute, the Boone County Schools Board of Education has approved at its April Board Meeting that the last instructional day for students will be May 24th.  

TENTATIVE GRADUATION DATE

Graduation date: TENTATIVE date will be June 2nd at 6:30 p.m.  Parking will be $5.00 cash only.  Graduation will take place at the BBT Arena on the NKU Campus.  The BBT Arena is ADA accessible.  There is both handicap parking and handicap drop off locations

Governor’s School for the Arts

Congratulations to Alexis Arsenault and Reagan McGriff on their recent acceptance to the Governor’s School for the Arts program. 

Athletic Summer Camps Mr. Rebel

Boone County High School Athletics will offer sports camps at various times over the summer months.  You can visit our athletic camps page to print the flyers.  All camps that are hosted will be updated as received.

American Legion KY Boys State

The American Legion Kentucky Boys State is an exciting opportunity for 11th grade boys who will be seniors next year. The camp will be June 4-9, at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Ky. The American Legion Kentucky Girls State camp will also be June 4-9, at University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Ky and is a similar organization strictly for junior girls. Information for both organizations can be found here.

Learn Arabic at UC

Learn Arabic this summer at the University of Cincinnati. Juniors and Seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.5 may apply. This program is 100% funded tuition & books and students will earn 5 semester hours of college credits. Click the link for details. (click here for document).
